Filled with funk and luscious production, the latest tune from j.pastel is an instant hit. The crisp drums are about as tight as they come, while swirling synths and jiving basslines are given delightful freedom to roam. ‘Senegal’ is uplifting and euphoric, using addictive falsetto to drive home the central message of “going to the ends of the earth to be with the person you love. It could be anywhere, but as long as you're together it doesn't matter.” The Chicago-based duo have only been producing music for a year, but their sound has already matured into something truly exciting.
